Hello everyone I'm Elaine Francis, I was born in Secunderabad, India. My parents are George and Yvonne Lynch, and they had 7 children so I have 4 brothers and 2 sisters. Everyday was a party at home I was raised with music, dancing, lots of love, and everyone who visited was not allowed to leave on an empty stomach. My Mum was an amazing cook...the Lynch's are a close knit family, and many were members of the Anglo Indian Association in Secunderabad. I remember attending all the dances, Christmas parties and events hosted by the association, and it was always so much fun. Sundays were very busy in our home with Mum cooking for the entire clan and the Priest's dropping by for a meal or Mum asking us to drop off food for the Priest's at Church...this resulted in me getting involved with the youth and choir ministries at our parish. In 1995 at the age of 21 I married my husband Lyndon Francis and made the big move to Canada in March of 1996. In 1997 we had our first born and 2 more children in 1999 and 2002. Dylan, and his brothers Craig and Aaron are all grown up now and are all doing well in their own right. I love cooking and entertaining for our family and friends. It brings back memories and feelings of warmth and levity when I am able to fill the shoes my mother wore so well. I have worked in the Financial Industry for the last 24 years, I have been with the Royal Bank for the last 16 years in various roles and have volunteered with different organizations thru the bank like Habitat for humanity, United Way, Christmas Wish Foundation, Movie Nights etc. I'm looking forward to working with the Anglo Indian Association here in Canada as your Secretary and meeting and networking with all the members at the events being organized.
