Philip Dessa

September 27, 1943 - December 5, 2021

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear Husband, Father, Brother, Grandfather, Uncle, and dear friend Philip Dessa on December 5, 2021. Philip was born on September 27, 1943 in Calcutta, India, to Allan and Enid Dessa. He was the second youngest of 5 children, with older sisters Daphne, Arlette, Ursula and younger sister Pat. Philip married his wife, Jean, in 1969 and moved to Toronto the same year. Philip was employed with Ontario Hydro where he worked for 38 years and retired as a Nuclear Engineer in 2009. Philip and Jean had one son, Sheldon (Laura) who blessed him with 2 grandsons, Adam and Kyle, whom he loved dearly. Philip was an uncle to many nieces and nephews and a true friend to many; he will be missed by all. The Anglo-Indian Association of Canada sends its deepest condolences and heartfelt sympathies to Jean and family for their very sad and painful loss. The Association has lost one of its fine members and we will miss you dearly. Rest in Peace Dear Philip.
